About My Family
I was born in a Christian home but had a personal encounter with the Lord when I was 19 years old. God called me into the gospel ministry at age 22, and I responded to that call when I was 24 years old. My wife’s father was an Islamic cleric, so she was a Muslim by birth. Anthonia gave her life to Christ at the age of 24 while she was in college. Her roommates showed her the love of Christ, and so she made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ.
My wife and I have been married for 14 years, and we are blessed with four daughters and a son. I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, then the Lord called us to plant a multicultural/multiethnic church in the Atlanta area.
About My Ministry
The call to plant a multiethnic, multicultural church was received as a vision from the Lord, and we are obediently answering the call. The mission of Divine Grace Church and Ministries is to expand the kingdom of God through the sharing of the gospel message among the people and the nations of the world (Matthew 28:19-20).
We envision being a faith community where people will be drawn to God through Jesus Christ and nurture one another with biblical principles. We are committed to reaching all peoples and nations with the gospel of Christ and bring them together to exalt the King of glory (Revelation 5:9).
NAMB Church Planting
Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God’s call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity.
